Lucked out with another really cool venue to photograph the adoptable dogs from Last Hope K9 Rescue this past weekend – Mystic Brewery in Chelsea, MA. I didn’t even know this place was there so a great find for afternoon microbrews but I digress. More importantly these sweet dogs looking for their forever homes. And, last I heard, three out of the four had deposits by the end of the afternoon. Not surprising. So first up is Piper who hasn’t found her forever family yet. I’m not really sure why. She was the happiest little girl who was a ball of positive energy and loved everyone she met. Total non-stop wiggle butt. She’s a 2.5 year old boxer mix with a face you can’t help but fall in love with.
Next is the very handsome Gideon (also one of my favorite My Morning Jacket songs!) whose a 2 year old Pit Mix. Love the charcoal coat. A real stunner and so sweet.
The bad news: Not many images of cute little Krisley a 2 year old beagle. The good news: She got a deposit! She was gone before I could do her portraits but here’s a sweet one with her foster Mom and also a little girl who was giving her a bit of lovin’ at the event.
Last we have gorgeous Coco. She is a 3 year old Pit Mix and my most photogenic pup of the day. I knew she had a deposit but couldn’t stop photographing her. So pretty. Her new parents-to-be, Rachel + John, stopped by the event to fill out an application for another dog they’d seen on the LHK9 website. But, alas, it was love at first sight!
Larry, from the Three Stooges litter and adopted only the day before, stopped by to say hello and celebrate with his new Mom + Dad. How cute is this little guy?
Shout out to Mystic Brewery for hosting the event! The place was hopping and I’m already planning a Saturday afternoon back with friends soon. Check it out if you’re in the Boston area.
