The visual storytelling of Families and Love continues at KLP as Summertime in New England hits its full stride – a.k.a. my happy place. So many sessions and not enough time to blog them all but here’s a recent one I loved with a Newburyport Family who hadn’t done Family Portraits since the boys were little. Now Ben, the youngest, is going into his Senior year but will be doing so online as both boys are heading out to the Midwest to play hockey at the end of summer. This shoot was a blend of Senior + Family (which is often a great choice for the Senior boys!) for their Mom who wanted to document this time in their lives before they head out. We had a amazing session out at Sandy Point. I always advise my clients to never look at the forecast as it is so often wrong or misleading. This shoot last Thursday was predicted earlier in the week to be 98 degrees with thunderstorms yet fickle New England Mother Nature struck again. What we got was a cool day (65 degrees or so) with beautiful light and that fog that I have come to love out there on Plum Island. Here’s a blog with some highlights including one of my favorite Family Portraits I captured recently of them all just walking along the beach talking which is the featured image (and last one in the series here.) The perfect canvas wrap. Love.
