Newburyport Senior Photographer ~ Plum Island Class of 2017

We’d planned for an evening session at Sandy Point for Izzy’s Senior Portraits. Just a few minutes into the shoot, we were notified by the Parker River Ranger that the whole refuge would be closing down for a bat research program so, after only about ten minutes of shooting, we ended up relocating to the other end of the island. I rarely shoot down there as Sandy Point is one of my favorite places in the world for so many reasons. But, I now have a new appreciation for the other “point” on Plum Island and have realized that this really is the ideal setting for Senior Portraits – a huge variety of backdrops, lighting and still dunes and the beach. I’ve since shot two more sessions out there this week (Olivia and Mark’s blogs pending?!) and have loved every one. Here’s a few highlights from her shoot and some of the images in the beautiful album and Wall Art pieces currently press. Note: for High Schools like Central Catholic who have specific guidelines requiring a studio portrait for their yearbook, KLP offers this as an easy add-on to our custom on-location portrait session experience.
